GENERAL

Who is Good Stories suitable for?

Whether you are a marketing and communications professional or part of a wider team running a social enterprise, Good Stories is tailored specifically to those who want fresh perspectives to take back to their organisation. This event provides interactive, innovative and practical tools and techniques to strengthen your understanding of marketing and communications for social businesses. Our multi-faceted programme will give you the storytelling tools you need to succeed across a range of disciplines including digital communications, policy and public affairs, brand development, media relations and more.

Will Wi-Fi be available?

Unfortunately wi-fi will not be available in the venue.

Will refreshments be provided?

Yes.

Tea, coffee and pastries will be provided during the morning break. Lunch will be served between 12:45pm-1:45pm and there will be drinks provided for the networking session at the end of the day .

I am a member of the press/media, am I able to get a press pass for the event?

We have a limited number of press passes available, please email emma@matterandco.com if you are interested in applying for one.

I’m from out of town; do you have a list of recommendations for a bar/museum/restaurant/hotel/gym etc.?

How do I get around London?

I have a dietary restriction; whom should I email my request to?

You should include this during registration on the Eventbrite page and you can update this information after you have bought your ticket at any time.

What is the attire for the conference?

The conference is business casual attire.

Will there be a cloakroom for luggage for attendees?

There are limited cloakroom facilities. We strongly advise that you bring the minimum luggage (small handbag and coat) and that you avoid bringing any large items (sports bags, large handbags, luggage, foldable bicycles, etc.)

Where is the conference?

Good Stories will be hosted at The Royal Bank of Scotland and NatWest offices, 250 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3AA

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the conference?

We strongly recommend, where possible, that you use public transport to reach the venue.

The closest bus/train/tube stop to the venue is Liverpool Street Station.

TICKETING

Is my ticket refundable?

Tickets are fully non-refundable. We welcome substitute individuals attending in your place at no extra cost, provided that we have at least 7 days’ prior notice of the name of your proposed substitute and have received payment in full. If you would like to transfer your ticket to someone else, please log on to your Eventbrite account to change the name on your ticket. If you have any issues with this please email emma@matterandco.com

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We will have a list of delegates at registration and can also accept ticket confirmation on a mobile device.

How soon do I need to pay for my ticket?

Immediately unless you choose to ‘send an invoice’ on Eventbrite. Invoiced tickets must be paid within 7 days.

I keep receiving an error message while registering for a ticket, how can I process my registration?

Please contact emma@matterandco.com and she will be able to assist you.

Can I gain re-admission if I leave the venue?

Yes, you will be able to re-enter by showing the lanyard you will be provided with on arrival.

If you have any specific requirements related to access, vision and hearing – we will make every effort to make reasonable adjustments in order to accommodate requests although we cannot guarantee that all requests will be met. Is the venue fully accessible by wheelchair?

Yes, all areas of the venue are accessible to wheelchair users.
