Alison Holland

As a school-run mum, Alison was frustrated with the traffic congestion outside the school gates at her son’s school… and wanted to find a solution. After organising a successful ‘walking bus’ at the school she was inspired to launch Brightkidz social enterprise which she has headed up for the last 13 years.

She holds a degree in Business Studies with Marketing and has previously spent time teaching English in Greece and France. She especially loves the creative side of her work now – designing products such as reflectors to promote walking, cycling and road safety initiatives.
